Financial Markets Subject Matter Expert
A senior advisory contractor role for a serious financial markets professional who can advise on the analytical quality of the platform's output, the regulatory positioning of new features, and the prompts and content that the platform produces.
Compensation: US$200 to US$400 per hour
About the Role
At the present stage of the firm, the analytical credibility of the product depends materially on the calibre of the senior practitioners who advise on its work. This role is structured as a contractor engagement, typically two to five hours per month, for a senior professional whose judgement is genuinely useful.
Responsibilities
- Advise on the analytical quality of the platform's output, principally the AI analyst chat and Drusus Daily.
- Review the prompts and the methodology for the analytical features the platform offers.
- Identify the analytical work the platform should expand into, and the work it should not.
- Provide judgement on the regulatory positioning of new features and the implications for the firm's regulatory perimeter.
What We Are Looking For
- Twenty or more years of senior financial markets experience, ideally including buy-side, sell-side, or institutional research.
- Substantial analytical reputation, in a senior role at a recognised institution.
- Strong written communication and a robust intuition for the analytical register the platform operates in.
- Capability to operate as a contractor advisor with discretion appropriate to the relationships you maintain.
